NEW HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA

The Author of this post is Velma Baird

I started watching a new teenage television drama with directtv on the CW. Yes, I fell for another one, and this time it is a lot different than the “O.C.”, but then again it isn’t that different at all. Teenage love quarrels, crazy parents (Maurissa’s Mom is even in this one and hooking up with another teenage boy). Except this teenage high school drama is set in a small town in Virginia with a long history of vampires. Usually, I don’t fall into vampire shows, but this one I have ended up really liking. Over the last couple of months they have played season one and season two. I have really enjoyed it. I definitely caught most of the episodes when I was home for break. Season three starts in January. I will definitely be watching it. I hope that this show lasts longer than the “O.C.” did. That show rose so quickly and fell really hard. I think that I had seen every episode. Mischa Barton got way to big for her britches.

The Zoobic Safari

Have you been to Zoobic Safari? It is located at the Ilanin Forest in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Philippines. Last month, we had an adventure to see the wild life - lions, tigers, ostriches, pot-belly pigs, goats, different species of birds and a lot more. we had so much that we took almost all of the animals. It was quite an experience!

A Fall Purse to Match My Downsized Wardrobe

Guest post written by Kathy Herman

I've been working really hard this summer to lose weight and I'm so proud to say that I've lost 20 pounds! This is something that I've been wanting to do for a long time and I finally reaped the rewards when I went shopping for fall clothes. But to go with all of those things, I need to make sure that I also get a few cute purses to go with my new downsized wardrobe so that I'll look all cute and pulled together with my new physique.

When it came to my accessories though, I did some online shopping because I wouldn't have to try those one and decide which size to wear. While I was online shopping for the purses, I ran across some info on clear TV. I looked through it and showed it to my roommates before I decided to change over our TV service to it.

I did find the perfect fall purse with this neutral light brown as the main color and dark gray as the accent colors on it. It looks so ladylike but still hip enough so that it will go with most of my outfits.

It's My Vacation Party

Now that I'm finally feeling out of work for the winter, I feel that it's time to do some traveling. My husband and I spent our summer time in North Dakota while I'm working from April to October. The months that I am at work, we couldn't really enjoy our summer time as other people did. Business first before pleasure as what other people say. And that's what we did for the whole six months we were there.

Last week, we finally close our doors for the campers and the camping season is over. It is time for us to enjoy ourselves and spend that moment we have been waiting for - the winter vacation. Our summer job up north was really good and it was overwhelming. We met a lot of travelers from all over United States and Canada. We some people from Europe too!

Now that our job is over for the year, it's time for us to party!

I Feel Great With My Hair!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TRESemmé for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I  show an excessively high opinion when it comes to my hair. I show great attention to every detail of it and I am very careful and precise the way my hair look. I could be very vain when it comes to my hair. Why not! I love taking care of my hair. Everybody says that I have long, shiny and beautiful hair. So I take my time taking care of it. It is one of my personal assets and I am proud about it.

The thing is, Fall season has just started and the weather makes my hair and scalp dry. When it's winter time, my hair gets frizzy which makes me cranky. The more it gets cold, the more I dislike my own hair. I was advised by a good friend of mine that I should use TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo. She told me that she's been using it for quite a while now and she told me how to use  it. It's a complete line of shampoos that revive your style's look and feel on days you skip a shampoo. It is uniquely formulated to absorb excess oil and remove odor, the full line of dry shampoos rejuvenates hair without a drop of water.

Since I have long, straight hair, I would like to try Volumizing Dry Shampoo. My friend said that it works for her and works for her mother too. I will give it a try to delete my problem with frizzy, dry and damaged hair. I don't have to worry about how can I survived a day making my hair beautiful because I know I can trust the shampoo that helps my hair look beautifully strong and healthy.
